Helping Hand Panorama

You can see why I went to the original shot. maybe not of interest to others the PIP is the approximate position of the star formation to line up the tracker for the southern skies. Or the third way the southern celestial pole is a equilateral triangle using the two Magellanic clouds as the base.

Thanks I did put this up as the companion to the shot before so you would see just where those stars are in relation to the bow . the formation get lost in the stitch but I have to find them to use a tracker no single star to make life easy for us down in the south.

Wonderful bow plus the Magellanic clouds! I need to get away to a place where I can see the stars...;-)

Steve Paxton replied to Gudrun:

I know what you mean and in part why I bought the tracker we have enough black Skies to use it. I can use the 200mm on the stars and constellations and bring them to life. just have to find the star in the PIP to line up the tracker. I have checked my single shots over the months of the bows to find it which I did. now I have to wait for it to arrive and them find it in the field.
