The ND filter works a treat for that effect.You have to keep out of the wind though, great that you like the shot.

This is a NISI 10 stop ND filter( all over filter) in action I have a 100mm square filter, what I like about the filter it does not add any colour cast to the shot. why I went for that filter over the Lee.
