when you consider the shear volume of trucks that use this road the log bridge must have become very unsafe.. on the bridge stuck with us was cars and 4 "Road train" trucks. Tide was coming in by the floats and the rope.

Lovely low light and a most interesting bridge! Amazing that it still stands with all the weight going over it.

These days its just the birds and I would guess a few fisher men. Sun was getting very low here so was adding extra interest. new bridge is a very heavy concrete one.
