Nice girls, where do they come from?

Steve Paxton replied to Daniela Brocca:

They are both Australians of Portuguese parents , the younger one worked with us in our cafe.

Daniela Brocca replied to Steve Paxton:

We have to think thal all Australians come. originally from another part of the world, a part the aborigines.

Steve Paxton replied to Daniela Brocca:

it seems even they came from some where else as well

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Indigenous_Australians

Hi Steve

I think you have done a superb job to capture these two ladies so nicely!
People pictures are difficult, too difficult for me!!

Best Wishes, and a good weekend,
Peter

Ah yes, when you go back in time it's difficult to say where people come from.

Very good portraits, capturing the joy of the day perfectly!
I wanted to practice portrait photography with my girlfriend.
Unfortunately ....
(regular viewers of my photos here and formerly on Pano will know what I mean by 'unfortunately'!)

Steve Paxton replied to Andy Rodker:

As i am a bit in the dark i can say honestly i would rather take photos of trees. i think it takes a very strong discipline with people , rather trees, my hope seconds and final wedding. Fast paced and non stop weddings. this is my fav shot of the day proud to put my name on.

Andy Rodker replied to Steve Paxton:

What I mean is that my girlfriend will never have her photo taken from the front. There is no reason that I can see why this should be so but there it is. It was a running joke on Pano and here, with those members who know this. That is why you only ever see back or side views of her, and even then, not all that often! I have to be subtle about it, like this one!

Steve Paxton replied to Gudrun:

Gudrun not many would understand trees but i have to agree . none the less i was happy my years of photography has given me this. this is what we all aim for but hope we never get call upon to do. Many thanks.
