Steve Paxton replied to Andy Rodker:

Andy it was a almost a dry storm very little rain what rain fell was high up and mostly turned to steam by the time it hit the ground. this one came down from the tropics mostly on our hills.as you can see in the back of the photo.

Hi Steve

Great capture of the semicircle. As you said, unusual weather conditions, so another one for the nature book!

Best Wishes
Peter

Steve Paxton replied to Peter_Private_Box:

Peter to get the full bow on a FX camera you have to use 16mm or less. this time of year for us its hot cloudless skies so made a great change. storm more in the hill we had a non event of rain... thanks.

Fabulous colours! You have so much space in Australia, our streets are narrow and people are living at close quartes.

Steve Paxton replied to Gudrun:

You are partly right but a 14mm makes every thing look big but one of the things i have always know we have nothing high so the skies look huge. from my front drive a new area a bit close for me but its home. very nice to have you home have seen some already of the trip. GREEN.
