#22 Bag End View

One of the Iconic door ways but never seen quite the same way in the movie. The reality of the movie set and the great landscape that make up the movie magic.

Good to see this Steve. A shot I presume from your trip to NZ a little while ago, proving that a good shot is a good un no matter the age or time it was taken. Love your composition and perfect exposure of the landscape. I might have been tempted to use hdr to bring out the texture of the walls too but your high-contrast effect works well. Great job, greets, Herb
ps just watched a new doc on NZ and again I see it as a stunning destination!

Steve Paxton replied to Herb Riddle:

Herb i know what you mean but i did like the fact there was a high contrast as the shape outside became more distinct by the shapes of the dark walls. Its not one lost on the fan of the movies. You want a place to go you just found it you will run out of chips and battery energy here. you will get lost in the true beauty of the land and if you watch the movie you will see plenty of it. this is in fact D90 shot i put it on for the comp
