This less than three streets away or 6 homes you can almost count them. a few of the homes did get some damage to the plastic parts ( aircon unit on top or patio roof )why i was up on top with hose i was able to reach the next homes to me to be sure as well. not a good sight thats for sure. thanks steve

I'd have been scared stiff! Hopefully you'll get through this summer without fires coming that near...

Andy the shot i took a re dramatic and the ones i did not even more so . on your roof till the fire was brought under control which they did by that time every third roof had someone on it with hose. way enough for me. in side my bag was packed thankfully did not need to run.

Yes you are so right i was one of the first home so i got to see it like this. the wind was very strong which did not help. i have to say i felt more comfortable i was far enough away but i would not like to have been on the fire front. thanks a view i hope you never have to see.
