Milkyway with meteor

Canon with wide angle lens. ISO 1600, 100xT=30 sec, f=10mm, f/3,5. The meteor showed up in two successive exposures (hence the gap).

at the time that most of the Perseide meteors were expected I was clouded out.

"Clouded out." Isn't that way it usually goes? I went out on the night of Saturday 12th, which I heard was supposed to be the peak night. It wasn't 20 minutes till clouds started rolling in.
