Lovely perspective looking up, and great play between light and shadow.

I love really this stairway. There is a tv serie called Don Matteo, a bit like Father Brown, only in our times, already 20 years old that has that in front of the church. They used the ex church Sant'Eufemia, but this is in front of the Cathedral.

Yes, a rather nice perspective as Joe says. I like the soft colours too as my eye goes up the steps to the main object of this photo.
