A new beginning (read below)

Maggie had her checkup with the Vet yesterday. When the Dr. asked how Maggie is doing I told her that she is still grieving after her buddy passed away. The Dr. asked how I know this and when I told her that Maggie stopped playing with any and all toys, her answer was that it often takes a couple of months for dogs to adjust to the loss of a human they loved. Her suggestion was to get rid of all toys that remind her of her master and offer a brand new one that will not have his scent on it. WELL...I did just that and judge for yourself... The Vet knows.

I think Maggie will do fine. It is hard to lose a pet (or a human). Go for walks and do interesting things with her. Best wishes to you both.
