The beavers have been cutting down a lot of small trees, mostly sweet-gums. I guess they taste good.

I had to smile when I saw this one. Does she swallow the wood or just chew on it?

As far as I can tell, she swallows only small bits. The local beavers cut off huge pieces and push them to their lodge at the edge of the pond.
