A super shot Ronald..................the Heron is a real beauty and I love the way it's balancing on the top of the piece of wood.

Thanks, Keith. The piece of wood is actually. the remains of a tree that was growing in a low area when a pond was built there many years ago. A pair of bluebirds is living in a hole lower in the same tree.
