Ever year these trees are a lovely sight when they bloom. Our family have one in their backyard. It won't bloom yet for a few more weeks.

Ronald Losure replied to Doerthe:

When I was a child, catalpa trees were planted along the streets in my town, but they were mostly cut down. I also planted a southern catalpa near this one, but it died after a few years.
