Thanks for the visit, Amelia. This is a small tree native to North America. I planted this one a few years ago. It becomes a very large tree. Bumblebees love these flowers.

Ik heb zelf ook een catalpa,maar hij bloeit nog niet,er komen nu de eerste bladeren en er hangen nog de zaden aan van vorig jaar.

I HAVE A CATALPA TREE IN THE GARDEN.. ALSO MANY LINR THE DIRT ROAD.

In the town where I grew up, there were catalpa trees all along one of the streets.

I imagine seeing the full tree in bloom is quiet a sight Ronald.

Absolutely gorgeous Ronald. Well captured. I love the pretty detail, like the filled petals. Idon't know this tree at all, - in fact I was looking at orchids!
