I see one here about twice a year . The Red bellied nest here,, the Downy's do too.. I see a Pileated very occasionally

Lovely capture Ronald, I really do envy you getting these opportunities, probably the best bird video I have ever seen is a slow motion close up of one of these hammering away at the tree, the muscles, eye movement and the bark being chipped away is an absolute wonder in nature.

I think I've mentioned that we have some borers that are killing many pine trees. So, there is lots of opportunity for woodpeckers.
