I bet the Egrets were ready to go, the white dog is pretending not to notice them. Wherever you were Roland looks like plenty of summer growth and nature around you.

Thank you very much, Maurice. Yes, it is summer here, and hot (+35C) almost every day. Today there is rain all day, and the plants are growing even more.

This is true, especially when the baby birds first leave the nest. I try to watch the dogs carefully at this time. These egrets nest in a swamp full of alligators, which prevent other predators such as raccoons from reaching the baby birds.
