I doubt if the bluebird is in much danger. The osprey specializes in catching fish. I suppose the bluebird would see the osprey approaching from a long distance.

Thank you. I was thinking that the osprey would want to protect its eggs or hatchlings in the nest, but maybe the bluebird is not a danger to them.

Maybe the bluebird could build its own nest among the twigs of the osprey nest. ;-) (Actually, bluebirds like to nest inside hollow trees. It is probably only visiting.)
