Solar eclipse - 21 August 2017

As seen from Princeton, Kentucky. The sky was actually dark blue. The corona was white and the moon was black as it looks in this photo. We saw Venus and Jupiter in the dark sky.

Yes, Marie-claire. That is the word I have been using to describe this. The weather was perfect. The place where I viewed it was perfect. And the eclipse itself was something that had to be experienced in person.
