Rhein traffic

Mächtig was los war auf dem Fluß. Wir mußten nach dem Ablegen noch einige Minuten am Ufer verharren und einige Schiffe vorüberziehen lassen, bevor unser Schiff auf der Stelle drehte und in Richtung holländische Grenze Fahrt aufnahm.

Unser Schiff war stromaufwärts mit 15 km/h unterwegs, sind 8 Knoten. Auf der Hinfahrt, stromabwärts, weiß ich nicht, hab ich nicht geguckt. War 'ne gemütliche Fahrt. Insgesammt ca. 550 Kilometer.

Das Schiff hatte drei Decks für Kabinen, darüber dann noch das Sonnendeck. Das untere Deck war auf Höhe der Wasserlinie. Auf der Fahrt konnte man schon über die Böschung schauen und die Landschaft genießen.
