Two very impressive images Amelia. I love the way you've captured the power and movement of the water.......particularly in the PiP.

That's quite a waterfall! I'm not surprised that the climb to the top requires the assistance of poles and chains.

What an impressive fall! Not sure I would have dared to go up there- even decades earlier;-)
Rogaland is a blank spot on my Norway map...

Amelia replied to Gudrun:

This is a photo of Adrian and his younger sister who came for a visit when we lived in Norway. I was 68 at the time, and thought the climb was reasonably easy. I couldn't do it now!

There's not much in Rogaland that would take your fancy, Gudrun. It's mostly quite flat but there is a lot of lighthouses, and extremely well preserved and complex German concrete bunkers, which I found very fascinating.

Gudrun replied to Amelia:

Ah, I recognized Adrian but thought the lady wasn't you;-)
I love lighthouses but am not so keen on bunkers. When I was a kid our holidays in the Dolomites always were spoilt by my father wanting to see all these WWI bunkers whereas we would have preferred to play at the lakes and streams;-)
