This view can be idyllic, but when the river levels are high then the area gets flooded. The bridge, the English Bridge, is one of many bridges across the Severn in Shrewsbury, and is one of the main two, the orher being the Welsh Bridge. The others are mostly foot bridges, althouh there is a rail bridge too.
