Memorial bell in Valletta
The Siege Bell War Memorial is facing Malta’s capital city, Valletta and is situated in the lower part of St.Christopher Bastion. It is a simple World War II feature but it has a symbolic design which represents Malta’s defenders over generations. It is really modest and blends in amazingly with the natural landscape and the surrounding environment. The memorial was built originally to stand for the fiftieth anniversary of the award Malta received from King George VI which was an appreciation of the heroism of the defenders.

The other day I was looking tghrough
and old photo book from 1991, where I made
holidays in St. Pauls Bay. Will do some scans from the paper
pictures to show here some of my views from Malta and Gozo
at these times - before mobiles came in use.
