Fortunately I still do write a lot, not letters but drafts, things for myself.

I write shopping lists and fill in Crossword puzzles, and aslo write birthday cards to family and friends, but rarely if ever do I write a letter by hand these days.

Beautifully arranged! I absolutely agree with you- I never got prizes for my handwriting and now it's simply awful- sometimes I cannot read it myself afterwards;-) I usually don't even write Xmas or birthday cards but quite a few shopping or to-do- lists...
