Where did that lamppost come from?

When I took this photo looking up river from the Queen's bridge to the Auld Brig, I didn't notice the lamp post in the way. It's funny what the brain ignores isn't it?

The spire belongs to St.Matthew's church. The building was completed in 1871, and is now a category B listed building. The bridges cross the River Tay, which is the longest river in Scotland and the seventh-longest in Great Britain, and which eventually reaches the sea in Dundee.

You see what you want to see not reality, I think you should be able to remove it to the height of the railings without any trouble

What invariably happens to me if I'm photographing say, out of a moving train window, is that I'll snap a picture and a post will just happen to go right past the window the split second when I do. It always messes up my picture!
