Halima Cassell. Self sculpture

SC111 - Post 1 September - Unusual Art

2007, Unglazed hand carved clay. This earlier revelatory piece is unique amongst the artist’s sculptural work which is not known to be figurative. Designed to be viewed from an angle, the abstract figure shows Cassell leaning forward, with the pose suggesting an inquisitive expression. Information taken from the artist's Instagram page.

I'm not overly keen on the "selfie"..............but the sculptural works in the three PiPs are all really beautiful, especially the one in the first PiP.

All very well captured in superb detail Amelia.
