Lovely families- with absent fathers as usual with eiders;-) Are eider ducks native to Scotland?

Eiders are a common nesting bird around the coasts of Scotland and northern England, the Eider winters all around the coast. Nevertheless I was still surprised to see them here.

The details look pretty good to me Amelia........especially when viewed large. Eiders are such beautiful birds and I'm pretty sure I've never seen them with ducklings before, so thanks for sharing this delightful image!
