A delightful view here Amelia. Although I have driven along the A55 below here many times, I have neve actually visited this castle. I will have to correct that at some time.

And are there puffins in the island? HBM Amelia

Unfortunately puffins were once common on the island, although they are today quite scarce; but.the dominant species include razorbills, shag, guillemots, kittiwakes, fulmars, herring gulls, lesser black-backed gulls, and great black-backed gulls. The area is of European importance for its breeding population of cormorant, and is also an important roosting area for oystercatchers. We have not sailed around the island, because we've seen all of these birds + puffins on the East coast of England.

I recall having a climbing ambition to climb the famous 'Dream of White Horses' on Great Orme - a much too difficult climb for me really and an ambition never realised. Still, it's what connects me to this pleasing shot, if only in the faintest possible way!
