Barracks Passage.

Henry Tudor House and the Lion Tap were probably built for Hugh Wygan, M.P. for Shrewsbury, as a commercial investment. In 1429. It is a large three-storied box-framed and jettied town property, set parallel to the street.
The blurb for Henry Tudor House sounds pretty much OTT. "Give it a beautiful zinc bar bathed in ever changing colours and add a conservatory with elegant chandeliers, framed by stunning iron birdcages. Then combine it with an exquisite oak framed restaurant and a luxurious private dining room."
And the garish photos don't do the inside or the outside of the building any favours.

Lovely perspective and great use of lead-in lines, Amelia. I love the limited palette of colours.

Amelia replied to Joe, Son of the Rock:

The colour palette is fine in the daytime, Joe. But it's a different story at night.

Amelia replied to Nick Weall:

Have a look at the link I've added, Nick. Whoever designed the inside of the place, particularly the lighting, deserves to be hung, drawn and quartered. :-))))

Nick Weall replied to Amelia:

Yuk, perhaps they could be quartered on the zinc worktops :) They ripped the guts out of the place ~~~

Your image makes it look very impressive, Amelia, even if the official blurb is OTT in colour and prose!

Michelle and I have walked this way many times Amelia, as you would probably have guessed. We had hoped to see a favourite singer of ours, Peter Howarth, there a few years ago, but couldn't make it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUus8jf85ds A beautiful shot and happy memories.

I love your perspective Amelia.............and the image is perfectly exposed. I like the paving stones and the old lamp. Beautifully captured.

I followed the link as well, and I completely agree with your comments in your reply to Nick (above)..!!
