Fantastic perspective! You have even caught a train on the viaduct. It seems the aqueduct goes into a tunnel, does the footpath also go there?

Amelia replied to Gudrun:

Yes there is a tunnel with a towpath, Gudrun. It is 421 metres (460 yd) long and is dark and not very good underfoot, or wasn't the last time we walked through it. Maybe it's better now. The tunnel is straight enough to be able to see if a boat is already inside the tunnel (boats are required to show a light).

Excellent perspective, Amelia, and great documentary shot of two parallel forms of transport. Cheers, Joe

Gudrun replied to Amelia:

I'd feel rather uncomfortable walking through the tunnel! I guess the boats look carefully before they go in.

Is there much of a drop to the right where the railings are Amelia?
A great shot with so much to see. I guess the train must travel between England and Wales?
