In the original part of our home we found these clumsy Victorian door locks, covered in layers of paint. 35 years ago I spent many hours trying to get down to the basics. I wouldn't bother doing that now. ;-)

Well for being clumsy as you say, they certainly are interesting with charactor. Large on black really shows the details to the lockmaker's logo in the top left. Love these! :)
