The love of silver

I think this may be Mica Schist, but I need the help of a geologist. Can anyone confirm what this is?

Mica schist we use to get in the hill of NZ it certainly has the look and it tended to shine with the light on it. the the Mica part was a mid gray colour and was almost peel able in layers. Schist was the Rock but with an abundance on Mica in it tended to split flat with the help of the mica in it. hope this helps there are a lot of different Mics Schist about.

THe silvery shine looks wonderful!
I'm afraid I cannot help you, but try either "slgwv" or "Earthwatcher" from the Geology group, they are the earth scientists.
