What a nice Victorian building! The buyers probably had to invest a lot of money.

I don't think the buyers have the money to do this building justice, Gudrun. The door to the ticket office has been blocked off, but the whole place has deteriorated over the last 10-15 years. Maybe they'll be able to get a grant, but any restoration has to be sympathetic.

Fantastic use of light and shadow, Amelia. I love the last vestiges of the autumn leaves. Cheers, Joe

Amelia replied to Joe, Son of the Rock:

Thank you, Joe. I'm surprised that there are any leaves left after the mini tornado that swept through our area last week. I wanted to get the whole building in the photos, but the owners' van was parked outside. I wonder if it's noisy on the platform (now removed) side of the building?

I don't know all that much of Shropshire,Amelia; Ludlow, Bridgnorth and the Wyre Forest and that's about it. Baschurch is a complete blank. I presume it was an operational station and line pre-Beeching? I like the shot, though.
Have a good week.
Best wishes, Andy
