Xena
Xena is a lovely lady who had been hanging out on a property since April. She joined us come winter. Xena did not get pregnant, so we suspected the beauty was already spayed. Yes, her belly has a scar consistent with a spay scar. Xena is a gorgeous lady, and she always seems to have something to say. Yes, Xena is a talker. Xena tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Xena has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Xena is available for adoption for $50.
Clyde (ADOPTED)
Clyde is an adorable 5-6-month-old fella who weighed 2 pounds more than his brother upon arrival. Clyde is a big, squishable boy. He's already been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Clyde uses the litterbox faithfully and he tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Clyde is available for adoption for $60.
Chardonnay (ADOPTION PENDING)
Chardonnay is a lovely young lady, about 6 months old, who has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Chardonnay tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She's a quieter feline, but she greets me at the door of her room for loving. Chardonnay is available for adoption for $60.
Ebenezer (SPECIAL NEEDS)
Ebenezer is as fabulous as he is blind. And Ebenezer, in spite of those gorgeous eyes, is compoletely blind. He's outgoing, loving, talkative. Ebenezer loves loving and is fine around little kids, dogs, cats. He does not like to be restrained at all, including being picked up, but he will sit on your lap or next to me and allow me to trim his claws. Ebenezer is neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. I would definitely keep Ebenezer, but I am committed to finding homes for all adoptable felines. This phenomenal fella is available for adoption for $50.
Bistro (SPECIAL NEEDS)
& Dixon (ADOPTED)
Bistro (AVAILABLE) and Dixon (ADOPTED) are a pair of brothers who were adopted but returned after Bistro developed seizures. Thankfully, he is doing wonderfully well on twice-daily seizure medication. These two boys are outgoing and friendly, very loving pair. They have been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Both boys tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are available for adoption for $100 for the pair.
Akita (SPECIAL NEEDS) (ADOPTED)
Akita is a gorgeous petite lady who joined us after being mauled by a dog. She had surgery on neck, then healed up from that and had her spay. Akita has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Akita weighs in at 3.8 pounds as a full-grown adult. Akita tested positive for FIV but thankfully negative for feline leukemia. Akita, a delightful, energetic love, is available for adoption for $40.
Tulia
Tulia arrived both very pregnant and ill. She ended up testing positive for parvo the day she gave birth to her kittens. Tulia was a devoted momma even though it cost her precious nutrients to nurse her babies. Tulia's malnutrition led to her fur falling out, but all of that is now a thing of the past as Tulia is a happy and healthy beauty. Tulia remains quite skinny, but I suspect she will always be a thin cat. She's a calm presence, enjoys laps, and does fine with feline-friendly dogs and most cats. Tulia does bap anyone who invades her personal space (although she will cuddle on the couch with some, all on her terms). Tulia is available for adoption for $50.
Miss Farkus
Miss Farkus was trapped as an older kitten along with her sisters. As they were all completely wild, they have been undergoing socialization. Miss Farkus loves human touch, and she is very food motivated. The beauty enjoys being carried around in her human's arms, purring up a storm. However, she is quite nervous around strangers. We are working to help her overcome her fears. Miss Farkus has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. She is negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $50.
MoMo (SPECIAL NEEDS)
MoMo arrived into our care declawed. MoMo, now approximately 9 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males although the adult females adore him and he enjoys kittens. MoMo used wee-wee pads instead of litterboxes when he arrived in our care. He has since had declaw salvage surgery to remove fragments of bone that plague him for years. MoMo now uses the litterbox. However, we'd recommend having wee-wee pads by litterboxes for now just in case. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and has been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. Adoption fee: $40. By the way, MoMo is hands down the best hugger in the house.
Violet (FeLV+)
Violet is a lovely one-year-old calico who has the misfortune of being positive for feline leukemia. Violet is energetic and outgoing, a loving, friendly girl. She does have chronic runny eyes, but otherwise this girl is doing quite well. She has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Violet would love a forever home of her own. She'd definitely enjoy having a fellow FeLV+ buddy. Violet is available for adoption for $40.
Zeppelin (SPECIAL NEEDS)
Zeppelin arrived a semi-feral with two ruptured globes and a nasty infection. Zeppelin, however, was not one to give up on life. She's extremely intelligent and equally opinionated. Zeppelin HATES taking medication. Period. Given Zeppelin most likely has IBD, that could prove challenging. Thankfully, Zeppelin's bowels respond well to a raw diet (we get our free-range chicken with supplements from Woody's Pet Food Deli). Zeppelin requires a very special home, one with experience and patience, one willing to make certain this tree-climbing blind cat is safe in her own home, and one committed to feeding her a raw diet. Zeppelin is spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Zeppelin is available for adoption for $50.
Clementine & Persimmon (ADOPTED)
Clementine & Persimmon were treated for an upper respiratory infection when they arrived. Persimmon had conjunctivitis as well. That has much improved, but he persistently squints. This ~4-month-old brother-sister pair are quite bonded, so we are seeking a home for the pair. Clementine & Persimmon are spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. They tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They would love a warm, safe, loving forever home. The pair is available for adoption for $100.
Smudge (ADOPTED)
Polydactyl Smudge arrived with her three siblings. Her two sisters had ringworm, but thankfully Smudge has none. As a part of caution, Smudge received 3 weeks of fluconazole as well as baths to be certain there were no rogue spores on her. Smudge has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Smudge tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She's still a bit nervous around strangers, but this beauty does well with me. Smudge is available for adoption for $60.
Fudge
Fudge arrived with his three sisters, quite a wild young man, but he has socialized nicely. Fudge still has a bit of an edge to his personality, but he LOVES affection and climbs all over me looking for loving. Fudge, like Smudge, has received a precautionary 3 weeks of fluconazole as well as baths to be certain no rogue ringworm spores are on his fur. Thankfully, he has never had any lesions. Fudge has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Fudge also tested negative for FIV/FeLV. This adorable young man is available for adoption for $60.
Miss Flick*
One-year-old Miss Flick was trapped as a feral kitten. She has been undergoing socialization, but Miss Flick doesn't show well as she doesn't trust strangers. In general, although she can be picked up and has had her claws trimmed without incident, Miss Flick really isn't overly fond of having her four paws off the ground. Miss Flick has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $50 but requires a very understanding human.
Magoo (ADOPTED)
Magoo has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Magoo is a very outgoing young man who seemingly is always on the go. He's available for adoption for $60.
Spiff (SOON AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION)
Spiff is Doozy's brother, a feral kitten on his way to being friendly. Once he is won, he'll be neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Spiff will be tested for FIV/FeLV prior to being available for adoption for $60.
Quigley (ADOPTED)
Quigley is an incredibly lovable, outgoing, handsome young man who eats up all the loving he can get. Quigley loves food almost as much as he loves loving. He's been neutered soon as well as vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Quigley is available for adoption for $50.
Pudge (RESERVATION PENDING)
Pudge will be available for adoption once she is treated for ringworm. This adorable young lady is a polydactyl who is learning to love affection. She'll be spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and tested for FIV/FeLV prior to adoption. She'll be available for $60.
Weevil (RESERVATION PENDING)
Weevil is the friendliest of her litter, but she has to be treated for ringworm before she's ready to be spayed and vaccinated. Weevil will be tested for FIV/FeLV prior to adoption. She'll be available for $60.
Doozy (ONE DAY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION)
Doozy is currently a feral kitten on her way to being friendly. Bit by bit, we're winning her. Then Doozy will be spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, as well as tested for FIV/FeLV. Doozy will be available for adoption for $60.
Belvidere (FIV+)
Belvidere is a handsome ~2 year old FIV+ fella who was treated for a nasty wound on his R front leg. He was neutered when he had surgery on the leg. He's been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Belvidere is available for $40.
Banjo (ONE DAY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION)
Banjo is a 2-3 year old young man who arrived an extremely ill fella. He's been on antibiotics for over 6 weeks now and is finally improving. Banjo will be neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper prior to this love bug being available for adoption for $50. Banjo tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
