Felines Available for Adoption
OUTDATED

Jojo (ADOPTED)
Jojo arrived with her momma Luna, brother Rizzo, and sister Jitterbug. The whole family was carrying pavovirus and very quickly became horrendously ill. Thankfully, we were able to keep them hydrated through subcutaneous fluids and the whole family survived the deadly virus. The family lived in isolation for six weeks and then tested negative for parvovirus. No longer shedding the virus, Jojo is now available for adoption. She is a very loving and affectionate girl. Jojo has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper (as the virus covers more than just parvovirus). Ideally we would like her to go to a forever home together with her equally beautiful momma Luna. Adoption fee: $50.

Luna (ADOPTED)
Luna arrived with her three kittens (Rizzo, Jojo, & Jitterbug). The whole family was carrying parvovirus and very quickly became horrendously ill. Thankfully, we were able to keep them hydrated through subcutaneous fluids and the whole family survived the deadly illness. The family lived in isolation for six weeks and then tested negative for parvovirus. No longer shedding the virus, Luna is now spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper (as the virus covers more than just distemper). She will be available for adoption for $50. Ideally, we would like Luna to be adopted together with her daughter Jojo.

Arizona (SPECIAL NEEDS)
Arizona is the amazingly friendly, outgoing, loving momma trapped with her three kittens (Kanata, Phasma, and Dameron). She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Sadly, Arizona tested positive for FIV. Thankfully, felines with FIV can live a long, happy, healthy life. FIV is not readily transmissible to other felines as it requires a puncture wound. As long as there is peace in the house, FIV+ felines can coexist with FIV- felines. As an additional challenge: Arizona may be allergic to standard cat food. We aren't quite sure. She does fine on a raw chicken diet from the pet deli or on limited ingredient dry food. When stressed, Arizona does scratch at her ears. A calm home would be best for her. No small, active children. Adoption fee: $40.

Franklin (ADOPTED)
Franklin is a precious young man with an outgoing, affectionate personality. He joined us on 8//16/15 as a quite ill young man. Thankfully, he has responded well to treatment. His guesstimated birthday is 6/21/15. Franklin has been neutered and vaccinated against distemper (he's not yet old enough for a rabies vaccination). He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Franklin is available for adoption for $60. While Franklin is doing great, I recommend that he continue having lysine mixed in with his meal twice daily for at least another month.

Fitz (ADOPTED)
Fitz and his brothers joined us 9/2/15. These playful, affectionate boys have been dewormed and vaccinated against distemper. They will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by age 7 months) starting 9/13/15.

She is available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 each (with verifiable proof of spay by age 7 months).

Pukak (ADOPTED)
Pukak, aka Wee Pooky, joined us on 9/5/15. She was the lone survivor after her momma was killed. Pukak figured out how to eat dry adult food at a very young age. She arrived in our care malnourished, dehydrated, and with a nasty upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, this youngster has been recovering well. She will be available for adoption starting 9/26/15 for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by age 7 months).

Gimchi & Kimchi (ADOPTED)
Gimchi and Kimchi are precious wee sisters who joined us at ~6 days old. They have a love of life that carries them far. Gimchi & Kimchi are inseparable, eating, playing, and sleeping together. We are seeking a forever home together. Gimchi and Kimchi will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 each (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Seth joined us on 8/19/15 and promptly had a botfly larva removed from his head. Thankfully, he has been none the worse for wear. Seth is a friendly fella who has been dewormed. He has been using the litterbox faithfully since he arrived. Seth will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by age 7 months).

Ratchet and his siblings will be available for adoption starting 10/4/15. Adoption fee will be a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by age 7 months).

Miss Farkus
One-year-old Miss Farkus was trapped as an older kitten along with her sisters. As they were all completely wild, they have undergone socialization. Miss Farkus loves human touch, and she is very food motivated. The beauty enjoys being carried around in her human's arms, purring up a storm. However, she is quite nervous around strangers. We are working to help her overcome her fears. Miss Farkus has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. She is negative for FIV/FeLV. Miss Farkus uses the litterbox faithfully, and she will do her very best to keep down the insect population in her forever home. Miss Farkus can jump four feet into the air to artfully catch a tiny moth between her front two paws. Impressive. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $50.

Miss Flick (soon available for adoption)
One-year-old Miss Flick, like her sisters, was trapped as a feral kitten. She has been undergoing socialization. Thankfully, Miss Flick is more comfortable around strangers, willing to take treats offered to her by unknown hands. However, we are still working on getting her comfortable being picked up. While she can be picked up and has had her claws trimmed without incident, she really isn't overly fond of having her four paws off the ground. Miss Flick has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She will be available for adoption for $50.

Whisper (soon available for adoption)
Whisper is a precious young man born in October. 2014 He has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. This beautiful boy LOVES to be pet. He was quite thin when he arrived and has been happily eating up a storm. Whisper has been dewormed and uses a litterbox faithfully. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His current setback is that Whisper broke his paw. He's in a splint and recovering nicely. Whisper will be available for adoption for $50.

Serendipity
Serendipity joined us on 8/5/15. Her guesstimated birthdate is 6/17/15. Like her sister Galaxy, Serendipity continues to adapt to indoor living. Serendipity is more fearful than her sister Galaxy. This beauty requires an experienced owner or someone with both patience and time. Serendipity has been spayed and vaccinated against distemper and rabies. She is negative for FIV/FeLV. Serendipity is available for adoption for $60.

Brooklyn
Brooklyn is a gorgeous young lady who joined us on 8/5/15. Her guesstimated birthdate in 6/3/15. Brooklyn continues to adapt to indoor living, but she is doing well overall. She loves treats, and this beauty enjoys cuddling. She's still shy around strangers and will take time to adapt to a new environment. Brooklyn has been spayed and vaccinated against both rabies and distemper. She is negative for FIV/FeLV. Brooklyn is available for adoption for $60.

India
India joined us from the same location as Serendipity, Galaxy, and Brooklyn. She may very well be the momma to Serendipity and Galaxy. India has been adapting well and seeks out loving. However, she is frightened of strangers. India will require someone with patience to adopt her. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. India tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption Fee: $50.

Chiffon
Chiffon is a sweet girl, perhaps 2-3 years old, who is happy to be off the streets. Chiffon has come a long, long way. She loves to cuddle and enjoys being petted by visitors. Chiffon tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper as well as dewormed. This beauty uses the litterbox faithfully. She is spayed. Chiffon is available for adoption for $50.

Ellie (still having ear infection treated)
Ellie had a litter of kittens on a property, and by the time we became involved only one kitten remained (his guesstimated birth date is 11/7/14 based on what the homeowner knew). The pair joined us on 1/16/15. Ellie, albeit shy, has been around humans in the past. She was spayed on 2/11/15 as well as vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Ellie tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is still being treated for a stubborn ear infection. Ellie is available for adoption for $50, but please be aware that we are still treating her left ear. We exhausted all standard treatments, and she had surgery on 9/14/15. Surgery went beautifully, and Ellie is THRILLED to be free of the chronic excrutiating pain that likely plagued her since kittenhood. Ellie has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.

Pandora
Pandora is an ~5-6 year-old girl who was returned to the rescue because she started hiding. Well, Pandora's teeth were literally rotting out of her mouth causing a great deal of pain. We had twelve teeth removed, and she has been coming back out of her shell. I am so happy for the girl. She definitely is still shy, and she requires an understanding home. Pandora enjoys cuddling on my lap and eats up loving, but she will need plenty of time to adapt to new humans. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Pandora is available for adoption for $40.

Amelia (ADOPTED)
Amelia is an amazingly precious approximately one-year-old girl who loves to be with humans and enjoys interacting with visitors. Amelia loves laps and basks in affection. Amelia cuddles all night long. This beautiful girl has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Amelia is available for adoption for $50.

Precious Pete
Precious Pete returned to us after being adopted as a kitten. He is now a one-year-old young man who did not enjoy the new dog his human adopted. Pete took out his disdain on another resident feline. Pete left at 3 pounds and returned at 17 pounds. He is on a diet currently and requires a home that is willing to portion out his food and keep human food away from him. Pete is an affectionate fella who really would like a home of his own. He is up-to-date on rabies and distemper. He has been neutered. Precious Pete is available for adoption for $50.

Boboli
Boboli arrived as a scared, pregnant feral. After raising her own kittens, she fostered a couple more litters for us. This beautiful young lady (maybe 1 or 2 years old) has adapted wonderfully well to interacting with people. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Boboli tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She will require an understanding home with plenty of patience to help her adapt. Boboli has done fine with one or two other felines but feels overwhelmed in our environment with many more than that. Boboli is available for adoption for $50.

Cricket
Cricket is a gorgeous young lady who joined us as a feral. She is perhaps now a year old. Cricket has found that she loves being scritched, so she welcomes affection. A quiet, gentle wee girl, Cricket spends most of her time curled up in her favorite spot. She has been spayed and vaccinated against both rabies and distemper. Cricket tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee: $50.

Murmur
Murmur is a petite young man with a birthdate of March 2014. While he arrived into our care when trapped once an adult, he has been finding out about the pleasures of indoor living. Murmur has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies. This boy is full-grown at 6 pounds. He uses the litterbox faithfully and has been dewormed. Murmur will take time to adjust to a forever home and requires a person with experience socializing former ferals or someone with patience and a lot of love to give. Murmur is available for $50.

Meadowlark
Meadowlark joined us as a pregnant feral adult on 5/13/15. She sadly rejected her litter (they were raised by Devonshire and adopted once 8 weeks old). Over time, however, she has been won. Meadowlark loves affection and greets me at the door whenever I enter the former feral room. Meadowlark will require someone with a great deal of patience who will allow her to acclimate to a forever home slowly. Meadowlark has been spayed and vaccinated against both rabies and distemper. Available for Adoption for $50.

MoMo (uses wee-wee pads)
MoMo arrived into our care declawed. MoMo, now approximately 9 to 11 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males (he will spray). He also at times prefers to use wee-wee pads over litterboxes. That has lessened considerably with time, but MoMo still falls into a special needs category due to his unusual litter habits. MoMo lives in his own room in our home (apart from other adult males). Thankfully, he enjoys female company as well as kittens. His room is our "kitten room" whenever we have kittens available for adoption in our home. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and has been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. Adoption fee: $40.

Mr. Grigsby (allergic to cat food)
Mr. Grigsby is a gregarious, outgoing feline. People who visit to choose a home often fall in love with his handsome looks, outgoing personality, and soft fur. However, he will need a special home. After all, Mr. Grigsby is allergic to standard cat food. He can have limited ingredient duck and pea without difficulty or, what we feed him, ground up chicken from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Of note, it isn't as simple as that. Why not? Mr. Grigsby is food obsessed. He will go after any food in the sink and even has figured out ways to open cabinets (now all have magnets holding them closed). This boy will tear into bags of anything left on the counter. We do our best to keep Mr. Grigsby away from anything that will cause him to react, but he manages to get into something every six to eight months or so. When it happens, he needs to have a steroid. His face swells and his paws swell. His lips ulcerate. If Mr. Grigsby doesn't get a steroid in time, his paw pads crack and his paws become secondarily infected thanks to the litterbox. Yep, it's best to catch it early. Mr. Grigsby requires a home that can medically care for an allergic reaction. An organized kitchen is a must, one where nothing is left out for him to devour. With all that said, Mr. Grigsby is definitely worth all the extra effort. He's been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. Adoption fee: $40.
