In reply to our various calls for candidatures for the mandates of Vice-President and Treasurer, the following three persons have come forward:

Blue rubber octopus (Ben Mesander) - as Vice-President.

Ben has been a member since 2013. He wrote a download tool for ipernity in 2016 and offered help to establish an internal programming team early last year. He stands for the freedom of art. In this respect, he fits our spirit. In his professional life he works as an executive leader of software development teams. He has experience as a honorary president of an American non-profit organisation. He writes that he has little time to serve the mandate, but is nevertheless willing to help shaping ipernity's future. He is 55 years old and lives in Longmont, Colorado (USA).

Corinne Pommerell - as Treasurer

Corrinne is an engineer in computer science and head of the ICT department of the City of Luxemburg. In this budget-responsible function, she is in charge of the various budgeting and accounting processes for her department. She knows the missions of a treasurer in a French association, as the related regulations are very similar in Luxembourg to those for an association under French law. She is fluent in French, German and English, and has a good knowledge of Spanish, which is useful in a club with international members. Corinne joined ipernity in 2019. She lives in Luxemburg and is 56 years old.

K. Urs Gruetter - as Treasurer

Urs joined ipernity in 2015. He is the brother of Buelipix www.ipernity.com/home/buelipix who came to ipernity from Panoramio in 2014. In this respect, there is a deep bond with ipernity. Urs is 66 years old, lives in Bern (Switzerland) and works as a lawyer and diploma tax expert, running his own practice. He worked as consultant for several companies and associations. In some cases, he was himself active as an association president. He knows the ups and downs of association life from his own experience. He has some ideas on how to make our financial system more efficient and, above all, safer!

In addition, two other club members (DannyB93 and Malik Raoulda) expressed their readiness to serve as treasurer in an emergency. Three club members (Annemarie, Eric Desjours and Xata) offered their helpful support as assistants.

In a personal interview, Urs Grütter gave Corinne Pommerel priority as the younger candidate. However, he is still pleased and willing to support her (see note).

The ima team therefore proposes to the General Assembly as candidates:

2) Treasurer Corinne Pommerel

We sincerely thank all the others who have offered their support. We recommend that the candidates accept those offers to the extent necessary.
