G'MIC plugin for GIMP
If you are using GIMP photo editor, you may want to test G'MIC plugin. I am not sure what it is good for yet, except for example giving multiple artistic and film replication effects, but you may see some experiments on my photos from now on.

Here's a short how-to-install tutorial for Windows and some examples.

I was going to install it also on my Linux laptop yesterday. For my surprise I already had it! It must have been included to the latest Gimp 2.8 distributions for Ubuntu Linux =)

Unfortunately that then is also an older version of G'MIC, not providing all the latest additions. So, I may have to update it.

Updating turned out super easy. All I had to do is download the latest .dep package and install it.
