Q. Tell us something about you and photography Q. What are your preferred subjects and techniques? Q. Are you a professional photographer? Q. What's your equipment? A. I use a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens and a 18-200mm VR. For post processing I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS2 Q. When and where you started sharing your shots? A. I started February last year on flickr. I'm still there and also since this summer here on ipernity. Q. Three preferred shots of yours? A. It's a little arbitrary, but there're three pictures: Q. The three preferred photographers or bloggers on Ipernity (so I can interview them: it isn't a contest ;-) ) A. It would be more fair to give none, but if you want to have three, here are three out of many: Q. What are the features you'd like to see implemented/improved on Ipernity? A. I have not so much for the team. The two main points are the recent activity page (NOTE: reply sent before recent activity page update). I would prefer a more flickr like version sorted by pictures, not by type of activity and a freely choose able time range. The recent pics inside the network need a limitation to lets say 1, 3, 5 or all. A very different thing would be a feature like deviantart or imagekind have, the possibility to sell pictures ;) Beside that ipernity need time to grow to make it a more active and attractive place. But that's more a task for the user... Thank you very much, Thomas Previous interview: Ying
A. I got my first serious camera (a Minolta SLR) when I was something like 14, but I used it only for snapshots on holidays or parties. More seriously I started photography three years ago, when I went for Japan. And there I also bought my Nikon D200. And at the same time I joined flickr, which gives a real push to me. So many talented photographers giving so much inspiration and motivation to improve the own abilities. So nowadays photography is a serious hobby for me. I try to continuously improve myself and maybe it will work ;)
A. My subjects are the things around me, everything I haven't tried before. My technique is based on intuition, I'm not patient enough to think a lot about the next picture or arranging things and so on.
A. I'm an amateur. My profession is science. I'm a physicist.
