Yippee!!!! Spring has dropped by
I awoke to sunshine at last and finally the chance to get out and about.
I walked along the prom to the churchyard and spotted a gorse bush in flower ad the lovely aroma of vanilla was a joy.( not real vanilla of course but very close)

At the front of the church yard the daffs are appearing

On to the park and more daffs on the banking and a small bush flowering as well.

After the lousy weather we have had it was wonderful to be out in the sun enjoying a stroll.
I carried on through the little winderness but no colour there yet so climbing I walked the half mile or so Ellen and Mals and had a coffee and a chat beofre returning home well satisfied with a nice stroll,I didn't quite manage the 5 miles I hoped for but run it close.

Oh wow, it was a gorgeous day where you were. I love to see the daffodils growing like that - I don't have any coming out yet. I do like the bush, very similar to the Himalayan Honeysuckle I have in my garden, but it's not out like this yet.

I love the smell of gorse when it's in its first week, the scent of vanilla is very strong and it's gorgeous.

Lovely photos Mickey. I love the smell of gorse too. We had one in a previous street and it was wonderful. Nothing like that here I'm afraid.
Glad you managed a nice walk in the sunshine.

The Gorse is pretty. We have a bush similar looking here but no real scent. I think I would like your gorse.
