Well Mandi went back to Turkey about 2 hours ago and I will miss her so much. We've had a wonderful time with her here. I've been spoiled by her cooking me all the meals and getting me coffee regularly. So now I have to do the cooking myself and remember to get coffee!! She says she's coming back at the end of the year!!! I think I'm supposed to go back with her and spend Christmas there - that'll be nice. It'll save my electricity too - I can pay towards their electricity but it is warmer there.
While she was here she asked me to make some key rings for her to give to her friends over there, as well as for her and Dogan. Of course I obliged - she chose the colours....
She wanted this one for herself - she liked the idea of the cat crawling up to get a cuddle....
This is for her friend, Sara, because her cats are continually wanting to be lifted up....
This is for her friend's son, who is always willing to give her a lift to the hospital or the beach - whichever she wants......
This is for herself - as she seems to have a lot of dark coloured cats and her favourite, Socks, is all black apart from each paw is white - hence the name "socks"!!
Can't remember who's getting this one - but never mind....
This one is for Dogan - poor man - can you imagine the ribbing he'll get if his personnel see him with a "pussy cat keyring"?
Again I'm not sure who's getting this one - I think it may be her other friend, Eve, who's moved from Bodrum, but doesn't live too far from her and stays in touch.
She also starts a new job on Monday - she's getting quite excited about it, because she's desperate for a job and having her own money and not always having to rely on Dogan all the time. She's very independant and would rather be earning her own money. She also had some good news from the doctor today - when she arrived she went to have a "MOT" because she hadn't had a proper doctor's consultation for over 3 years and she needed to be reassured that she was okay. He rang this morning to say that all the results had come back from her blood tests and there was nothing to alarm her, she just needs to keep taking the tablets for vitamins and such. I've got her loads of tablets (I've been collecting them for about a year - just one or two boxes a month) so she'll be fine. They are all within the dates, so that's okay.
I'm sorry I haven't been around much, but she's taken up the time chatting about all sorts of things. I had missed her so much, but soon we'll be together again. Well take care of yourselves and I wish you all a happy weekend.

The key chains are a new twist. They’re awesome! You are so incredibly talented! Amazing how you can mold them into any shape you want. I envy your talent.. And I will try to call soon. Promise! Xo
Jenny McIntyre replied to Gracie:
Glad you like the key chains, but before you start thinking I'm really very talented, I don't mould those designs, I buy the blank shapes and then fill them in with resin and such!!!!! I wish I was that talented though.

It must have gone like the wind.
As usual, you have made lovely things, those keyrings are beautiful [and I'm also - partly, at least - a cat person]
Pleased that Mandi's passed her MOT ... I'm about to go out and do some gardening & hopefully make some VitD as a sideline.

Love the cats! Those are really pretty Jenny. I'm a dog person, but I'd like those.
So glad to see that she's had a clean bill of health, and that she has meds to take back with her.

Glad you like the cat designs, as I've said, I don't have dog designs yet - I'll have a look to see if I can get some.
Yes Mandi did have the clean bill of health, which was such a great thing to hear, because I do worry about her over there.
