This is not my photo, but I attended a talk on this house last night. The Historic Automotive group I belong to had their annual meeting and speakers on the restoration of the property as a part of the program. David McLean Parry was an industrialist who made his fortune building buggies and stage coaches. He moved onto building motor cars and ran short of money. John North Willys bought out the company and moved it to Ohio. Parry continued on with other automotive ventures until his death in 1915. The house stood empty for a good many years in recent times and a $2.1 million dollar renovation was just recently completed. The house is currently on the market for any of you needing a little more space. A very nice slide show can be seen at: www.everhartlistings.com/Listing.aspx
