First Place - Portraits

www.indianapoliscameraclub.org/November-2015-Club-Competition/

I'm sorry I haven't been around Ipernity very much lately. but I've been covered up at work and at home trying to get everything in shape for winter. Tuesday night was the last photography club competition and I entered three photos. I recieved good comments on all of them, but I did pull in a first place with this one.

Thanks Chris! :-) The girls have been spending the day sleeping ... and occasionally going outside to bark at the neighbors! :-)

Thanks Paul! :-) Good something goes right once in a while! I'm still sorting out leaking brake-lines on my S-10.

Sorry about the S-10 Norm. As for the portrait it really is a cracker ... couldn't seem to find it on your photostream though! :(

Thanks Paul ... I'll eventually get the S-10 sorted out, but the conversion to stainless steel has been more of a challenge than I thought it would be. The portrait would be be way back in July in my photo stream.

Thanks Norm ... I'd not realised it was an old one as far as ipernity is concerned! :)

Congratulations, Norm! Truly this deserved the first place it won! Good luck on winterizing. I'm laying in plenty of wood for my fireplace and marshmallows to roast in it!

Thanks Kenny! I wish I had the fireplace! :-) I'm currently getting everything in place to remodel the darkroom ... as well as getting all the trucks in shape for winter.

I wish I had a darkroom. I have to use my kitchen and wait until it's dark - hence my "dark" room.

I've been using the kitchen for developing film here, but I've wanted to get back to making prints. I use to just sign up for a university course on weekends so that I could use their darkroom, but they have quit doing that on weekends. Mine is in the basement. I could get by without the remodel, but I want to make it a cleaner environment for making prints.

The basement, eh? Then maybe I should think about using my basement for more than just storage. The water pipes are already down there, so it would be an easy thing to add a sink for a darkroom. Thanks!
