Does ipernity have any counter?
No need to repeat the question. And it is not easy to accept the answer: maybe.
Plus, I guess not.
You add 34 photos of an event. Each of these photos are viewed between 57 and 90 times. So you have to have app. 74 views and ca. 2500 total. But your total view count was 20.xxx before and 20.xxx after. It is ridiculous and useless.
I am using this "shop" as a showcase and mostly for special purposes, so it is not a crucial problem. And I am happy to pay to this shop at the corner and not to the big&tall mall. But I am paying for this too!? So?

Hello G.,many people are going back on flickr and i understand them in a way, this "shop" is very slow, sometimes even seemed closed but it has its charm, design is very nice and photos are clean.
Flickr changed view count and bring more confusion on already cluttered site, now everybody gets a lot of views and faves but its fake,as it can be seen here in this forum talk.

This is just small excerpt where staff is explaining new view count:
"count views on all photos that appear in your browser viewport on the Signed-in Homepage Activity Feed, the Photostream page, Set pages, and Search Result pages (these pages, along with the photo page, which is already counting views, represent about 80% of the page views on the site). For the Justified pages on that list, we may count photos slightly before they come into view."

Old discussion with this funny counter, summarizing in a spooky way. Once they changed counting overview page hits, but the sum over visited single photo pages seems not fitting together with this total view count, hence this counter is less than the sum over the single page counts...

I would prefer to have the option to set by own Google Analytics ID on my pages, as possible in sites like 500px.com. They use GA for themselves, but we get no access to the data. This would be a desired "Pro" option in my opinion. Maybe this is the reason this is now called "Club" ;-)
