Some movies are able to combine concepts like action, humour, drama, and romance in a seamless fashion. Other movies take these items and create an experience that seems more schizophrenic than cohesive. Enter Kick-Ass. A fun movie that despite generating some cheesy teen-love vibes came out as a solid "alright".

I thought it started well, and got into things at a nice pace. The middle however seemed sloppy and disjointed, and loss my interest. I will admit that it did end strong with a great last 20 (maybe 30) minutes. So I walked away feeling good about seeing it, but not convinced that I'll be dying to see it again.
