How images look on different monitor screens...
If you haven't looked at your images on any screen other than your own, you may be in for a bit of a shock.
Most of my processing and viewing has been done on a large Panasonic Viera (48") screen. It has been an unhappy surprise whilst travelling over the past few days, and having borrowed a family Apple Air Book for the journey, to see that many of them look rather washed out, as if the saturation levels have been reduced considerably.
I am wondering if this is a common issue?

My concern was that I was seeing my images well-lit and with appropriate saturation, and what on earth were they looking like on others' monitors!

John, thanks for that. My monitor is correctly calibrated, but your information will be certainly be useful for others.
