slowly, slowly ...

Oh so ever, slowly ...

Well it's taken me a while, but I'm finally getting around to putting some photos onto ipernity and clearing out my flickr site.

I began though with giving myself a makeover, same name but with a new logo which I'm really pleased with ...
I began by setting out the name in dozens of different fonts, but ended up coming back to the one I'd used before. The main change to what I used to have is the introduction of the 'tyre lense' to replace the letter 'o' and connote what I'm basically all about, cool cars and photography.

Avatar And I've used the 'tyre lense' to produce my new avatar too. Looks kind of neat even if I do say so myself and certainly an improvement on the road traffic camera icon I was using before I came up with this.

New identity sorted I then turned my attention to letting folks on flickr know what I was up to ...

While back on ipernity I've created my first proper album called What To Expect, which gives a feel for the different types of image I take and which I've uploaded in the past. I've also moved my first complete album across from flickr, entitled American Speed & Custom Show 1992 and replaced it on flickr with this ...

And there you have it, progress ... of sorts.

What worries me is how long it will take me to get everything the way I want it and get everything I had on flickr moved across. I know there's an app of some kind to do it, but I'd rather have more control over the process so I'm just going to need to knuckle down and get on with it.

I can see why so many people that came across when the flickr revamp kicked in haven't followed through and moved everything across ... it really is a lot of work.

Regards
