Fotografieren ist dem Gedichte schreiben sehr ähnlich. Ein Foto verdichtet die Welt in einem Bild. So wie jedes Wort in einem Gedicht wichtig ist, so ist in einem Foto entscheidend, was man weg lässt, was man an welcher Stelle abbildet.

Gedichte und Fotos leben von dem Ungesagten, dem Ungezeigten, von dem was zwischen den Zeilen steht, mit Gedichten und Fotos können Zwischenräume geschaffen werden. In diesen Zwischenräumen spürt man, was Poesie oder Magie genannt wird. Es ist die Kraft der Konzentration auf einen Moment, des Flüchtigen, das seine Spuren hinterlassen hat, ohne gebannt worden zu sein.

To take a photo of something is rather similiar writing a poem. A photo compacts the world in a picture. Like each word is important in a poem, so it is decisive in a photo what you leave and what you show on another place.

Poems and photos are living form unspoken and from things you don´t show. Living from what you are able to read between the lines. So you produce spaces. In these spaces you are able to feel something is called poetry or magic. It ist the power of concentration in one moment, of the fleet, that remains its groove.
