Something short of 90
Good tidings to all my "new" old friends from that now-ADHD-trigger-of-a-site!

A cursory look at my stream will show evidence of several failed attempts at importing batches of 90 photos from Flickr using the Greasemonkey script. Strange thing is, it works for a scattered few of the images, though the overwhelming majority fail to appear (at least on my end).

Any advice?

Hi Don,

Good to see you and other familiar Flickr faces here on ipernity.

Thanks to you and Shari for the info about your importing experiences. I've only tried the Flickr2ipernity one-by-one importer using Greasemonkey in Firefox so far, and I had it hang on me a couple of times when I imported just a handful of images (the 90-at-a-time Flickr.importer wasn't available at the time). I got the (perhaps mistaken) impression that it was working OK with my public Flickr images but not with the private ones I tried. I hope to get back to importing in the next week or so, so any additional advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks,

Alan

Don, I've had the same problem. I started watching my total photo count in organizer after adding each batch, and at least half of the chunks I imported had anywhere from 4 to 11 missing images. I'm waiting now to see if the ability to transfer by album becomes available and see how well that works.
