Old Photos.
I was looking for something, in some old files, and found these:
Bailey with his Mum and siblings.

Puppies exploring. Only a few months old from 2008.
Let us out! lol

My son, and Bailey. From 2008. Bailey less than 2 months old. He was ridiculously cute! The dog... lol
Not a good one of me lol. No wonder we loved that dog, he was so adorable.

About 18 months old, I think. He was a tad crazy back then, and so excitable! Look at those teeth!

A little older, not long after a bath. He trashed that frisbee with his sharp teeth, also the door frame, a kitchen cabinet... He did a lot of damage to the previous house. Thankfully, the landlord/friend was very understanding.

He was a great pet, a lovely companion. Not being maudlin, though we do miss him, obviously. If I had my own place, I'd seriously consider another Samoyed. They are so friendly, great with kids (though can't eat a whole one) and smart too. He was stubborn on times, though he gave us almost 14 years of happy memories.

Oh he was certainly a fantastic animal. I too love Samoyeds, even though I'm a cat person - I could easily be persuaded with a Samoyed!!! I think it's their expressions on their face that pulls me in. They do look very like white teddy bears.

I miss my Pippin too, and as he was much smaller and didn't destroy door frames, kitchen cabinets etc, his absence isn't as big as the one you must feel without Bailey. Thanks for this lovely story with pictures of Bailey - they're beautiful.

Thanks Jenny. He was a lot of hard work, especially to train (stubborn) though he was a wonderful boy and so beautiful. I miss hugging him.

Pippin was a good looking cat, always so sleek. Shame he didn't like the camera much.

I can easily see how you fell in love with such an adorable puppy! Almost makes me want to have another. But I think not. I can understand the loss and empathize though. They are tough to train but once they are they're great. Sorry you're missing him.

You are quite right to say Bailey was a cutie - such a lovely dog and he obviously made you both very happy, so I really sympathise with your sense of loss.

Keep Safe ...

Thanks. We're ok, though sometimes when I think of him I get a tad sad. Never had a dog get that old before and we miss him, obviously.
