The late Freddy Fender (Baldemar Huerta) covered "You'll Lose A Good Thing" on the 1976 album "Rock'N'Country" and topped the Country chart while peaking at thirty-two on the Top One Hundred. Freddy was a member of Grammy winning group The Texas Tornados along with Doug Sahm, Flaco Jimenez and Augie Meyers.
