This must be the wild aspargus bush form we get round here and where you can pick off the sprigs from the main stalks and cook them (called 'sprue' in English).

I really love the main image Isabel...........the delicate flowers and beautiful green stems and leaves look wonderful against the lovely colour of the background. The macro view in the PiP is just as lovely and the detail is amazing (although the background is not quite so attractive).
